AI Girlfriend App Refund Policy Review: Renewal Traps
The Charge You Notice After the Fun Part
The screen that matters most in this category isn't a chat window. It's the small line on a plan card that tells you what the subscription renews at, and most people only read it after the second charge lands.
Here's how it usually goes. Your statement shows a renewal higher than the price you signed up at, or a coin top-up you don't remember planning, and now you're typing "ai girlfriend app refund" into a search bar at midnight. Fair enough. But a refund policy is the last resort, and by the time you need it, the money has already moved.
The amount got decided earlier, by the billing structure. That means the intro price versus the renewal price, an annual bill paid upfront versus monthly, and whether photos run on a second currency on top of the plan.
That's what you're actually paying for: a chat thread where she answers and sends photos back. So the useful question is how much of it you can see before a card comes out.
Real talk — that's why GoLove.ai is my pick for this search. You can open the chat and watch Series episodes 1 and 2 before paying. Stars are priced per unit too: 1 Star per image, and a fixed Star price per video.
Read the bill before you ever need the refund.

Sampling Beats Refunding: What GoLove Shows Before You Pay
Picture the mini-case on your phone. You open Explore, tap Tessa (@fitess), and the chat opens, no account needed yet. Her first photo is right there in the thread. The next one is blurred, with a lock and a Sign Up button over it, and a "Send me spicy photos" quick reply sits ready to tap.

That small sequence shows you most of the product before any billing starts. Here are the pre-payment touchpoints you can check:
- Chat without an account: her first photo is visible and the next one is locked.
- Series episodes 1 and 2 of every show play even without an account.
- Daily Stars: a free account collects 2 reward Stars a day.
- Feed: a limited number of new clips per day before the paywall appears.
Look, this is the cheapest refund protection there is. A few minutes inside the product tells you whether the photos and the chat feel worth a subscription (and that's the only question a refund was ever going to answer). Most disputed charges start with someone paying for something they never saw.
The no-account chat and the two free episodes are open right now. Use them before you look at any plan card, not after you've already paid for one.
Sample first, pay second.
Intro Prices, Renewals and Coins: Where Bills Change
Not gonna lie, the pattern is nearly identical across apps. One number gets you in, and a different number keeps you there.
| App | How the price works | What changes the bill | What you can see before paying |
|---|---|---|---|
| GoLove.ai | PRO monthly, or annual at a lower per-month rate | A −70% first-subscription offer, so read the renewal line. 100 Stars/month included, 1 Star per image, 5 per video | Chat without an account, Series episodes 1–2, 2 daily Stars |
| Candy AI | First-month offer, then a higher monthly renewal | 100 tokens monthly, and extra media can need token purchases | Five messages, one custom character, one image |
| OurDream | Monthly, or a cheaper per-month yearly plan billed upfront | Images, voice and video draw on DreamCoins (1,000 per cycle on Premium) | Free to join; free limits not confirmed |
| DreamGF | Discounted first annual payment, then a full-rate renewal | 100 tokens monthly, and media uses tokens | Free trial and daily message claim advertised |
| Character.AI | Free chat; optional c.ai+ subscription | Strictly SFW, so there's no adult media spend | Full chat, free |
DreamGF has the widest gap in the table: a discounted first annual payment, then renewals at the full rate. Candy AI's first-month offer works the same way on a smaller scale. If you signed up through FlirtSyn, the OurDream row is your row, because flirtsyn.com forwards to OurDream AI's sign-up.

Annual Plans, Coins and Middlemen: Refund Myths
Most refund frustration traces back to three assumptions, and none of them hold up.
- "Annual is the safe choice." Annual is the bigger commitment. OurDream's yearly plan bills the whole year at once, and so does GoLove's annual PRO. You pay less per month and more on day one.
- "The subscription covers everything." Media often runs on a separate currency: Stars on GoLove, tokens on Candy AI and DreamGF, DreamCoins on OurDream, Moments on Secrets AI.
- "FlirtSyn will sort out my bill." It can't. The account, plan, coins and support all belong to OurDream AI, so billing questions go to OurDream.
Whatever app you're on, check the current terms in the app before paying. Don't assume anything about how refunds or leftover coins are handled.
What does a GoLove video actually cost? A 720p video from the generator costs 10 Stars. A one-tap photo-to-video in chat also costs 10 Stars. A single image costs 1 Star.
The generator is where your Stars actually get spent, so budget around that screen, not the plan card. For the bigger picture, see what each paid AI girlfriend plan actually includes.

Who GoLove.ai Is NOT For
Look, no app fits everyone, and GoLove.ai has real limits worth naming.
Skip it if…
- You want fully free, unlimited use. Free means 2 daily Stars, a limited daily Feed and episodes 1–2 of each Series.
- You want male characters. The gender filter shows "Male (Soon)", so there aren't any yet.
- You want strictly SFW chat. Character.AI's free chat is the honest pick for that.
- You want the lowest long-term rate. Candy AI's annual billing works out cheaper per month, so check their site for current terms.
- You don't want per-episode spend. Past episode 2, Series needs PRO plus a few Stars per episode.
There's also one gap on our end: we could not confirm GoLove's refund terms. Check the current terms in the app before you pay.
What GoLove.ai gives you:
- Series: vertical short dramas starring characters you can then chat with
- She remembers your chat history
- Photos on request in the chat
- Image generator with 35 realistic poses and 21 outfits
- 2 reward stars every day you log in
Why it still nets out positive
You can predict the bill, and for a refund-policy search that's the part I care about most. Every image and video has a Star price. PRO comes in a monthly option, so annual isn't the only route, and the plan includes 100 Stars, restored each billing month. The photos you request in chat also keep her face and body consistent with her avatar and earlier shots, which means you're paying for one companion rather than a random set of faces.
Hard pass for free-only or SFW-only readers; a solid fit for everyone else.

What I'd Do Before the First Payment
Here's the order I'd go in:
- Sample the chat and watch Series episodes 1 and 2 before anything gets charged.
- Start monthly on PRO (about $19.99/month) rather than annual, at least until you know you're staying.
- Read the renewal line next to the −70% first-subscription offer, because your first charge and your renewal won't match.
- Budget your Stars. PRO's 100 Stars cover about 100 images, or 20 videos at 5 Stars each (10 at the 720p rate).
> "The best refund policy is the bill you understood before you paid it."
Rivals do win on narrow points, as the skip list above shows. Still, GoLove.ai is my pick for this search, because you can see what you're buying before you pay and every image and video has a Star price.
Prices checked 2026-10; promos and regional pricing vary.
Once that's settled, you get to the fun part, which is building. Design with AI takes a plain-text description and turns it into a named character with her own @handle, a bio and a portrait in about a minute.
It costs a few Stars, and new characters start private, so you can try your idea without committing to anything bigger.
